Since we moved here five years ago, my wife has diligently kept the local crows fed, making sure to put the food out under the cherry tree when they were around to see it.

This year, a pair have nested in the big tree overlooking our yard with line of sight to the ground beneath the cherry tree.

It's good to build community.

We had a couple of Corvids make the Colorado spruce in our front yard their hangout one year and the wild bunnies liked to play with them (or pester them? I'm not sure...sometimes bunnies can be jerks :blobtonguewink: )

The bunnies would binky all over the front yard while the birds squawked until finally the birds would dive bomb them and the bunnies would scoot away.

Often what's in the yard is better than what on TV.

@msh totally! our neighbor crows like to play with Zero, and he'll run around jumping into the air woofing at them and they'll yell back and swoop around a few feet above him like they have a scheduled playdate. it's cute as heck.
