There is nothing like a few hours of scraping at a wall to make you want to scream at every jump cut and 'magic transition' between the before and after state of every project shown in media.

If I decided skip the ugly middle part using that trick, I would miss out on butt jokes in three languages, loving clowns offering the scrapers soup, and the reminder that the process itself is part of the point of doing the thing.
