Geez they're even hacking into his wet dreams...tsk tsk

Jolt Colaaaaa!

Pairs well with chocolate covered coffee beans when you have no time for sleep

You'd figure Penn would get Teller to help make a hacker disappear :blobthinkingcool:

Oooo

Look at all the shineys zipping through the series of intertubes

...Free/Open Tech may often stand on the shoulders of giants. But when those giants are crushing the villagers underfoot it is time to find somewhere else to stand, and to rid ourselves of the giants that threaten our safety.

Take back Free Tech.

It's past time for Free/Open Tech to change direction.

We must move with purpose, not speed.

We must make things, not break things.

We must embrace democracy, not meritocracy.

Tech Freedom is about being inclusive not exclusive.

We must welcome and lift up the oppressed and stop apologising for the oppressors.

We cannot venerate terrible people based on intelligence and past achievements to the exclusion of all else.

We cannot generate ANYONE. Doing so turns the bazaar into a cathedral...

Once more calling out for help:

A bigger #Mastodon instance wants to move out of Crimefl… ahem, Cloudflare, and is looking for an affordable CDN it can move to. We're talking about half a terabyte of data – and it needs, well, a CDN and HTTPS support at an affordable price (so Amazon is out, if it ever was in); and it should be privacy-friendly and ideally FOSS friendly (the latter two are my additions, but feel right).

Any recommendations? Asking for a friend

Pls boost if you don't know yourself.

Whew! Everything seems to be in order now after a some tuning and a few reboots. Not only am I finally up to date with Mastodon, I have upgraded Debian and Docker on the host it rides upon as well.

I can now rest a bit easier for the next little while. I think my instance will be holding off on v3 upgrade until I'm sure we don't have any oStatus-only follows and followers that would be missed.
