@thatgeoguy I feel like that was one of the keenest insights that The Good Place explored in its final season. How can a person act morally when EVERYTHING has hidden costs?

@forpeterssake It's incredibly hard! And you don't even have to go as far as "morality" -- it's just as difficult to have principles that stray from the status quo.

It would be great if we didn't have to have these hidden costs, but you live with the hand you're dealt.
