Continuing adventures in DCSS: Kragk the Deep Dwarf Earth Elementalist was a solid mage who could swing a flail when needed. At level 4 he ran into the ghost of Kragk the Orc & Grinder the imp. He ran from both, narrowly escaping when Grinder noticed him. He went deeper still, until on level 8 or 9 he turned a corner & came face to face with the wizard Erica. He tried to run, but her spells had range and she blasted him from afar before he made the stairs.

His death was caused by bad luck. Nothing I could have done would have changed his fate. Now, the Deep Dwarf Fighter who proceeded him...that was just pure hubris on my part. As was the other Deep Dwarf Earth Elementalist who came after that.
It seems when ever I try to squeeze in a few minutes on my lunch break, I try to fit in TOO MUCH and get reckless. I play much better and more successfully at home in the evenings.
