Amazing spin from the PM today. "Oh, sure, we tried to push through legislation that would have given us unprecedented financial power until the end of 2021, powers the government didn't have even during WWII, but the opposition told us not to, proving that we have very robust democratic institutions and the opposition is doing their job of making sure we're making the right decisions."

Holy shit, dude, whoever wrote that key message deserves a raise and/or a guillotine.

@msh At least he's so far resisted the urge to follow in his father's footsteps and invoke the definitely-not-the-war-measures-act. But, yes. He's fine as the figure-head-in-chief, but questionable when it comes to actually making decisions.
